Local history, cultural history, architecture history. Welcome to a high-level historical lecture about the old grain silo on Odderøya, Wednesday 7th of February at. 19!
American and European flows in architecture were a prerequisite for the new industrial building in Odderøya in 1935. With the silo came modernism to Kristiansand.
This evening contains, in other words, local history, cultural history and architecture history.
This lecture is held by Jan Henrik Munksgaard, former associate professor of cultural history at the University of Bergen and director of the West Agder County Museum.
The museum and the café are open until 2 pm. Price: regular entrance. Free for members.
